Rap Duo Video

Gift a rap video to your friends

To gift a rap video, turn credits you have paid for into one shareable link. Every friend who opens it claims the same share and makes their own rap duo video with photos they choose. You can see how many shares are taken and stop the link whenever you like.

How gifting works

  1. 1

    Have some paid credits

Any plan or credit pack gives you credits you can pass on. Free credits, invite credits and credits someone gifted you stay in your own account.

  2. 2

    Create the link

Sign in, open your gifts page and set how many videos each friend receives, how many friends can claim, how long the link stays open and an optional note.

  3. 3

    Share it anywhere

Paste the link into a group chat, a birthday card or an email. Every friend who opens it claims one share until the shares run out.

Why a gift link works

Buying a present for a whole group usually means one present for one person, or a spreadsheet of who owes what. A gift link flips that around: you pay once, and the group helps itself to equal portions. Each friend makes something of their own, so the gift turns into a dozen small videos instead of one.

What a gift costs

Each video in a gift is a standard song worth 10 credits, so the sum is videos per friend, times friends, times 10. Giving 2 videos each to 5 friends takes 100 credits. Credits come from a plan or a pack on the pricing page; the smallest gift, one video for one friend, is exactly what a single song at $7.99 buys.

Those credits leave your balance the moment you create the link and are held for your friends. A link stays open for 7, 30 or 90 days, whichever you pick; when it closes or you stop it, every unclaimed share comes back to you. If a gift draws on plan credits, they keep the end date they had in your account, and the link shows your friends when to use them by.

Ideas for a rap video gift

Your friends make the videos themselves, so they choose the photos and the topic. A few occasions where one link does the work of a dozen presents:

There are three broad ways to give someone a rap about themselves. A custom song service pairs you with a human songwriter who writes and records a track from the story you send; you get an audio file for one person, and you wait while somebody writes it. An AI song app makes the music for you, but what comes back is audio, and the person you are celebrating does not appear in it.

A rap duo video is the third option: two real faces, from photos, performing an original song on a stage. It is short and made for sharing rather than for a keepsake album, and the gift link is what sets it apart: one payment covers a whole group, and each friend decides who stars in their own video. If you want one polished, human-written song for a single person, a songwriter service is the better fit; if you want the whole group laughing at the same time, a link is.

Gift questions

How many friends can share one gift link?

Up to 50. When you create the link you choose how many friends can claim it and how many videos each one gets, up to 20 each.

What happens to shares nobody claims?

They return to your balance when you stop the link or when it reaches its end date, so an unclaimed share costs you nothing.

Do gifted credits expire?

Credits from a pack never expire, and neither do shares claimed from them. Plan credits keep the end date they had in your account; your friends see that date on the link and need to use the credits before it.

Can I gift just one video?

Yes. Set one video for one friend and the link holds 10 credits, the cost of a single standard song.

Who appears in the video a friend makes?

Whoever they choose. Each friend uploads their own photos and picks the topic, so the gift can star them and anyone who agreed to be in it.
