The best AI rap generator for verses, full tracks or a video
By the Rap Duo Video team

The best AI rap generator is the one that hands back the thing you actually want. Need written bars? A chat assistant does it. Need a finished track with a voice and a beat? Try Suno or Udio. Want to watch yourself and a friend perform a new song? That calls for a video tool such as ours.
Quick verdict by output
- Best for lyrics: a general chat assistant. Give it names, a mood and a bar count, then edit the result aloud.
- Best for a full song: Suno or Udio. Both turn a short style prompt, or your own words, into an audio track with a beat and a synthetic rapper.
- Best for a video of real people: Rap Duo Video. Two face photos go in; a short vertical clip of both of you performing a brand-new song comes out.

Lyrics generators: bars you perform yourself
When you plan to deliver the verse in person, at a wedding, in a group chat voice note or over a beat you already own, text is all you need. A chat assistant drafts a usable sixteen bars as long as you feed it detail: who the song is for, two or three shared memories, the tone and the length. Asking for a rhyme scheme (AABB, or internal rhymes on every line) tightens the result noticeably.
The catch is rhythm. A text model never hears the beat, so lines run long or stress the wrong syllable. Say every bar out loud and trim words until it sits on the count. If you would rather start from finished, clean material, our funny rap lyrics and rap battle roasts are original lines you can borrow.
Full-song generators: Suno and Udio
Suno and Udio build a complete track from a sentence of direction, with drums, a hook and a computer-made voice. Describe a sound ("boom bap, dusty drums, two rappers trading lines") or paste lyrics you wrote and the model performs them. Both offer a limited free allowance and keep commercial use for paying members, so read their terms before you upload anything that earns money.
The result is audio and nothing else. There is no picture, and the voice is not anyone you know. That is perfect when you want your friend's name in a chorus, and wrong when you want to see your friend say it.
Video starring real people: Rap Duo Video
Our studio is the video choice, and it does one job. Add a photo of each performer, or one picture of the pair, pick a stage such as the orange Tangerine Booth, and optionally type a topic. You get a vertical 720p clip, 5 to 15 seconds long, in which the two of you trade lines of a song written for that topic, with a beat and voices made for the pair. Lyrics follow the language of your topic.
Its limits are honest ones: it raps rather than sings, it needs two faces, it never clones a voice, and you cannot upload your own track. People use it for a birthday rap song, a friendly AI rap battle, a clean diss track or the Hotel Lobby AI trend. Start from a topic on the AI rap generator, meet the performers on the AI rapper page, or follow our walkthrough on making an AI rap video.
Prompt tips for any AI rap tool
- Give names and specifics. "Sam burns toast every Sunday and blames the toaster" hands the model something to rhyme with; "a funny rap" hands it nothing.
- Choose a single mood. Hype, roast, sweet or nostalgic. Four moods in a short verse make every line weaker.
- Think short. A clip of a few seconds holds a couple of strong lines, not a biography. One idea told well wins.
- Write in the language you want back. Most tools, ours included, reply in the language of the prompt.
- Run it twice. Every generation differs, so treat the first one as a draft and keep the better take.
